Project Description:

The project is to prepare property condition assessments (PCA) of ten buildings at the University of Minnesota.

The properties are being assessed according to the ASTM Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process (ASTM E2018). This guide is being used to define the scope of the project as well as to establish guidelines for the resulting Property Condition Reports. Along with a team of consultants, Charles Levin Architects (CLA) performed a walk-through survey, researched each building , conducted interviews, and is now preparing Property Condition Reports (PCR) that summarize the findings and includes Opinions of Probable Cost to repair the identified material deficiencies in each building.

Other members of the PCA team include Urban Design Perspectives, Perry Bolin Architecture, Stahl Construction, Roof Spec Inc., Braun Intertec, and Hess Roise & Company.

Project Status:

Assessment Process began in July, 2012 and reports are scheduled for completion by the end of September 2012.
